THOUSAND ISLAND LAKESWe set out on an adventure to Thousand Island Lakes in preparation for an upcoming documentary we’ll be filming on Mt. Whitney this Fall. We hiked about 20 miles in total and camped out under the stars with a breathtaking view of the mountains that remained spotted with snow through the summer months. On the morning of our descent, we were greeted by a beautiful sunrise and calm waters that embraced reflections of the mountains ahead.
